All moms are purebred Bernese Mountain dogs. Dads to the puppies are Toy or Mini Poodles. A mini Bernedoodle can weigh 25-55 pounds and be 18-22 inches tall as an adult. Their life expectancy is 12-18 years. A mini Bernedoodle typically has a longer lifespan than a Standard Bernedoodle due to being smaller in size.
Our Mini Bernedoodles have a likeable and gentle nature inherited from their mother. They are typically not aggressive dogs. They are very intelligent and very social. There is no major difference between males versus females. Males tend to be larger in size and females tend to stay smaller as adults. They don’t like to be left alone for long periods of time. Potty training is normally pretty easy with consistency and patience. When choosing this breed please take into consideration- will you have the required amount of time on hand that this breed needs? Do you have the funds it takes for upkeep and grooming your dog? A Mini Bernedoodle is a good choice for a family that is not super active. They need their daily exercise but are more low-energy dogs. They are a better choice for an apartment dog versus a Standard Bernedoodle. They are content to cuddle and stay by their owner’s side.
Our puppies have a wavy to curly hair coat thus they require a significant amount of grooming to keep their coat from getting matted. They should be on a 12-16 week grooming schedule. After losing the puppy fur in the first year of your puppy’s life, shedding is very minimal and they are known to be hypoallergenic dog.
